Why WIESHEU?

More than 50 years ago, our story began in a garage in Burgstall (Baden-Württemberg, Germany) with the refurbishment of used butcher ovens. After a short time, Karl-Heinz and Marga Wiesheu implemented their own ideas of the perfect oven – with a clear focus: baking at the point of sale.

No production lines, no massive systems: WIESHEU stands for baking and snacking in the store and thus for freshness, the smell of warm baked goods, and simple, customer-oriented application as well as smart product features.

Today, we produce more than 10,000 ovens a year in two German factories.

With our own development and our international sales team, we have established the topic of in-store baking beyond the borders of Europe as the standard for bakeries, grocery retail, gas stations, as well as system catering and hospitality, and we are proud to count the largest bakery chains, retail, and gas station systems among our customers both nationally and internationally.

Decisive for this are the competence, professional expertise, and experience of our approximately 500 employees, our European sales companies, as well as our sales, application, and service specialists in the field. 

With numerous innovations, such as the first cleaning system for convection ovens, we have repeatedly set new standards in the industry. Today, our products are in use in bakeries, supermarkets, gas stations, and catering businesses all over the world.
